The fusion of traditional Japanese architecture with European architecture creates the FUJIYA HOTEL’s unique atmosphere.

These two classical Meiji era (1868-1912) buildings feature shutters and casement windows.

*COMFY LODGE and RESTFUL COTTAGE have no elevators.

FLOWER PALACE (Built in 1936)

  • Registered tangible cultural property
  • Heritage of Industrial Modernization

Perhaps the most distinctive of all the FUJIYA HOTEL buildings, the "FLOWER PALACE" which Japanese name is Hanagoten, is well-known around the world.
Each room has a non-numerical but a flower name, and a design concept of its flower, and it extends to the design of door and even key.

FOREST WING (Built in 1960)

This is the newest building at the FUJIYA HOTEL.
Standing on higher ground overlooking the older buildings, this offers rooms that look out into the natural scenery of Hakone as well as rooms that provide views of the Hakone Tozan Railway.
As part of the 2020 renovations, we are installing a new private lounge for hotel guests on the second floor and a hot spring on the top floor.
