Fujiya Hotel is comprised of four different buildings: THE MAIN, COMFY LODGE & RESTFUL COTTAGE, FLOWER PALACE, and FOREST WING.
THE MAIN, COMFY LODGE & RESTFUL COTTAGE, and FLOWER PALACE are all registered as important cultural assets in Japan.

THE MAIN

This building is the face of Fujiya Hotel and the most historical part of the hotel complex.
The fusion of traditional Japanese architecture with European architecture creates Fujiya Hotel’s unique atmosphere.

COMFY LODGE & RESTFUL COTTAGE

・Heritage of Industrial Modernization

These two classical Meiji era (1868-1912) buildings feature shutters and casement windows.
The first building is called COMFY LODGE and the second RESTFUL COTTAGE. Both are two-storied wooden buildings.
*COMFY LODGE and RESTFUL COTTAGE have no elevators.

FLOWER PALACE

Perhaps the most distinctive of all Fujiya Hotel buildings, "FLOWER PALACE" which Japanese name is Hanagoten, is well-known around the world.
Each room has a non-numerical but a flower name, and a design concept of its flower, and it extends to the design of door and even key.

FOREST WING

  • Built in 1960
This is the newest building at Fujiya Hotel.
Standing on higher ground overlooking the older buildings, this offers rooms that look out into the natural scenery of Hakone as well as rooms that provide views of the Hakone Tozan Railway.
As part of the 2020 renovations, we are installing a new private lounge for hotel guests on the second floor and a hot spring on the top floor.
